Spark Loses BT settings

I have a dedicated Samsung S20 phone devoted only to music and specifically to the Spark. Nothing else runs on it, no SIM, no calls, no other apps.
The phone has the absolute MOST current version of Android on it. It loses connectivity to the Spark virtually every time I turn them both on. If I can get them to connect properly (which is most of the time) through a manual process, the amp is a solid little practice amp. However my experience varies widely and today I haven't been able to connect to the Spark at all.
What am I missing? Too many BT connections in my office? I really like the amp, however might I suggest a better pairing/connection strategy? I'd settle for a basic wired connection if it was dependable.
Is there a FAQ on BT connectivity?

@mrkuffler Have you connected the Spark to any other devices via BT? If you have connected the Spark to several different BT devices, it may be connecting to the other device before your S20 has a chance to make the connection. If not, then try moving the Spark and the S20 to a different room and seeing if it connects better. If that's true, then you'll have to weed out the interference in your office.
