Bias Amp 2 & Bias Rack DSP - Level difference Hardware and Local Presets
-
I own my Bias Rack Processor only since 2 days.
I generally start to love the sound quality, but do struggle with several issues that I don't understand: For example, why it was hardly possible to connect my Bias Rack to Bias Amp 2 which is running on my McBook. I have at least just found a workaround procedure, but that's not not how it should be.
Back to topic:
I see in Bias Amp 2 that there are presets that are stored on the Bias Rack DSP - they are in the "Hardware" list.
Then there are presets that are in the "Local" List.
OK, now to my problem:
Each preset in the "Local" list has a SEVERELY lower output level than the EXACTLY same preset in the "Hardware" list. Can anyone reproduce this behaviour and hopefully provide a solution that all presets have the same output level?
Oh, and I have this issue both with the Mac and iPad version of Bias Amp 2.

I have found out right now, that once I overwrite a factory preset stored in the "Hardware" list (SLO SP-88) with something from the Tonecloud (SLO SP-88 v2) or the "Local" presets, this preset will also have a much lower output level than the other factory presets.
On some presets it's like the output level pot for the one in "Hardware" is on "3" and for the same preset in "Local" is on "7 or 8".
I mean, I could live with that, if I didn't have the perception, that even if I level it out accordingly, there is also a difference in the sound quality. To my ears, there is quite significantly less low end, it sounds much less full bodied then...
Maybe it's just me and I am slowly getting crazy...
