BFX2 Looper Add Backing Track
-
Hello everyone,
Been learning the ins and outs of Bias FX2. I have the Elite version and have been toying with the looper. It's a cool function but looping to only a metronome and 2 stock beats gets dull very quickly. There is a section at the bottom of the looper window that says "Add Backing Track". When adding in one of many .mp3 backing tracks I have in my computer and attempting to play, I get nothing but a super slow, warbling playback. These tracks playback perfectly fine in iTunes. Changing the Tempo or hitting Sync or any of the other functions has absolutely no effect. There's absolutely no mention of this in any published guides at all. Nothing on the forums and nothing on YouTube. Is this the same as using the backing tracks in my Music icon section? I really wish there was a way to bring in drum tracks from EZ Drummer without doing everything in a DAW. Does anyone know how the Add Backing Track function is supposed to work?

@korkenknopfus It sounds like you are experiencing some technical difficulties with the Add Backing Track function in Bias FX2. It's possible that the software is having trouble processing the mp3 files you are trying to import.
One thing you can try is converting the mp3 files to a different format, such as WAV or AIFF, and see if that improves the playback quality. You could also try reducing the file size of the mp3 to see if that makes a difference.
Another possibility is that there is a bug in the software that is causing the slow, warbling playback. You could try reaching out to the software's customer support team to see if they have any solutions or if they are aware of any known issues with the Add Backing Track function.
As for using drum tracks from EZ Drummer, it's possible that you may need to use a DAW in order to incorporate them into your Bias FX2 recordings. However, you could also try importing the drum tracks into Bias FX2 as audio files and see if you can sync them up with the looper manually. It may take some experimentation, but it could be worth a try..
