      Hi,

I am wanting to add a battery to my Spark 40, and I came across a few members who have successfully used a power tool battery to power their Sparks. However, I can't find any instructions on what is needed.

On my searches I found that Dewalt (my personal power tool collection brand) have a little battery add-on device (DeWalt DCB094K) that can power up laptops etc up to 100w as well as charge the battery using any USB charger, which sounds very useful for other situations.
But are there any implications using this with the Spark? Like what cable would I need to connect to the Spark? and would it feed it the correct voltage/amps etc without damaging it?

      TIA
      Mark

Be careful with what you purchase for your amp. Even the slightest difference in power requirements may damage the amp. I purchase this one from Amazon
        https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RDFM55J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You can see if the specs match what you're looking at. The cable that came with the battery was exactly what was needed for the Spark. Good luck..

          Hi, Mark!

I agree with wanting to take the Spark 40 outside.
You want to use power tool batteries. Is there any reason for this?
I think the battery terminal on many power tools is the blade.
          Maybe this blade will melt.

I'm thinking of taking it outside as well.
          The method is
・Mobile battery with output exceeding 20V2.5A of USB PD
・USB PD compatible terminal and tip +5.2mm (inner +) cable https://amzn.asia/d/7BfuUpJ
          is a method using

I would be happy if you could refer to it.
