Just received my Spark Mini, did the firmware update but still can not connect with Bluethooth Audio.
Also did all the steps mentioned in another post (reset factory settings, forget device and pair again) but still I am not able to find Bluetooth Device Name under avalable sources on my iPhone BT settings like I do with my Spark 40.
      Please help!

I have similar problems, I get connected then it just drops, I have a Samsung Fold 4 so it is a new phone with the latest BT software. The issue is clearly the firmware of the Spark Mini device and this needs fixing. I've even tried downgrading my BT on my phone but no joy. If someone from PG is reading these posts please get this sorted ASAP or I will be asking for a refund and I assume many others, this is not a unique problem and there are multiple posts on Reddit from Spark MINI users experiencing BT connection issues.

Unfortunately, I've got the same issues. Latest firmware, Android 11. The Help desk is very friendly but it essentially suggests a procedure that does not help. And no further contact after the last hint that did not work.

I can connect in the following way: Connect SPARK MINI Music with Android using Android settings. Start Spark App. Skip Connecting. Click on the Hamburger (sign with the three white stripes at the bottom right side) and connect tone control ("Connecting"). Then open the Android Bluetooth menue by swiping from top to bottom and tapping the small arrow below the Bluetooth sign. Click on "Add new device" in Android settings and add SPARK MINI BLE. It gives you an Error. (wrong code something). Go back to Spark app, wait a little and tap "back" sign in the app, but not "Cancel"! Suddenly, the Tone Control Bluetooth signal is green.

So far so good. But although it tells me to be connected, I can't switch the tone not tune the guitar. Of course metronome works as it is connected with "Music".

In my opinion, the Android app is on a very low level. Apple seems to work a lot better. It would probably be a peace of cake to connect Bluetooth, because so many devices can do that. But the will or the appropriate personnel is not available.

The SPARK Mini is an ingenuous peace of hardware and the idea of app support is next to none. But it helps nothing when the app can't connect to the device. I've got another week to send the Mini back and I will do if the problem is not fixed by then. Very sad indeed. But I want to play guitar and not Bluetooth DJ.

@rob-3 Funny thing, I am using iOS. And unfortunately no, it is not a better user experience. I am also considering returning the MINI. Simply can not understand why it works with the Spark 40 but not with the MINI, since it is just a SW thing. Anyway....

@henryx Weird for sure. I had one of the very first Spark Mini devices, and have only ever had an issue connecting the Bluetooth Audio when another device is connected to the Bluetooth Audio. iPhones and iPads if previously connected to it will default to connecting to it without asking (the little blue light lights up) so I can sometimes have to turn off the Bluetooth on my phone to get the audio from my iPad!
