      Hi,

I've just updated to the latest firmware (1.6.5.160) and could no longer connect my iPad to the Spark. Running the latest version of the Spark app (2.3.0).

Tried resetting Bluetooth as per the Help Centre but this did not work.

Ended up having to do a factory reset and then could connect again.

      Cheers,

      Michael

@michael-stone Exact same problem. Ran the update, and I can plug in guitar and the amp works, the preset lights are changeable, but my Spark app on my iphone says 'connecting' and then shows 'disconnected'. Help appreciated.

                Factory Reset:
                Turn the device off.
Press and hold the “TAP” button when turning on Spark amp, release the TAP button when it starts to blink.
Long-press the blinking "TAP" button until all four (1~4) LEDs blink once, then release the TAP button.

Couldn't connect from iphone and ipad but also all the default knobs on the amp stopped working except the output. Factory reset fixed it.

It seems that everybody has to do a factory reset after the latest firmware update. Anyway it was the only way I could get my iPad to connect to bluetooth.

Same here I cannot connect with bluetooth either after ther firmware update - I think this is the last straw for me.

As another poster said, the Spark amp is a great idea, but unfortunately it has been executed extremely poorly. I spend more time trying to get it working and sounding good than I do playing with it.
