ASIO Driver or Firmware Bug?
-
When attempting to use the Spark as an audio interface for recording into Reaper, I'm running into an issue with audio playback that seems to be a bug in the ASIO driver or possibly in the spark's firmware. If I install the driver, everything works great until I connect the spark to my android device via bluetooth to adjust tone settings. If I connect to my android device, even once, the ASIO driver stops functioning for audio playback. I can disable my bluetooth on my phone, restart my computer, and restart the spark or unplug the USB and reinsert it, and the USB audio playback still will not work. The only solution I have found is to uninstall the Spark ASIO driver and reinstall, at which point it works exactly as intended, until I connect to my spark over bluetooth for any reason. I've tried disabling bluetooth media on the spark in the android bluetooth settings so I could only adjust tone settings and not use bluetooth audio, but whenever it connects for the first time it is automatically enabled, at which point the ASIO driver stops working.
I can still record audio, there's just no playback unless I uninstall the driver and reinstall and don't connect to the spark via bluetooth for any reason.
Some details for devs in case it helps.
PC is running Windows 10 Pro with latest updates as of 6/17/21
Phone is OnePlus 8 5G running Android 11
I did have ASIO4ALL drivers installed, but uninstalled them as it did not solve my issue
I've got all volume controls at 12 o'clock just to make sure I'm not dumb and have something turned down
