Hello from a new Spark 40 owner,

Having seen some number of posts along the forum about shipping delays and protracted waits for delivery, I thought it might be worth adding my "data point" to the collection.

For reference, I am located on the east coast of the US.

I purchased a Spark 40 via the Positive Grid website on 5/7/2021 and it arrived today, 5/13/2021. I went via the website due to the $30 off sale, the $10 coupon for signing up for emails, the free gig bag accessory and free shipping.

Order placement was straightforward and I didn't encounter any hiccups. I got an email almost immediately to help set my expectations on delivery times and provide all the details about the order.

I got a second email on 5/11/2021 with the update that my unit was being shipped and providing a tracking number for the UPS shipment. The shipment originated in Atlanta GA USA.

The package arrived today in a plain carton. Inside, packaged in their own cartons, were the amp and the gig bag. The amp was further packed within this plain carton in a retail box with form-fitting padding and was well-secured against movement and displacement. I would rate the packaging as being on par with some of the best electronic packaging I've encountered.

I will get the amp set up and going within the next few days and report back with anything that might be useful to someone considering a purchase or wondering how the initial ownership experience goes.

By the way, I did check and verified that it came equipped with a three-prong grounded plug for the power supply.

I haven't unpacked the gig bag yet, so no opinion on it as of yet.

I'm looking forward to mothballing my assortment of effects boxes, cables, latency-prone apps, and inconsistent interfaces with this do-it-all (at least by my lights) device that will (hopefully) be an accelerator to my playing abilities as opposed to an impediment, as some of my prior setups have been.

Love this one, it's a country radio hit if I've ever heard one (and since I've been in country radio since 1978 I've heard a few). Keep 'em coming!
