I am a bit confused with tonecloud and the control on spark. To get the intended sound of a tone from tonecloud, how should the controls of the spark amp be set?
I feel that if depending on what settings I have on the physical amp, the tonecloud setting will sound different...

@olivier-brucker yeah I find it confusing too. When I load a tone from tonecloud, the nob settings on the amp don't reflect the same as what is shown on the amp in the app. once I turn one of the nobs on the amp, then they all sync in. I would expect when I load the tone from cloud, the amp in the app will instantly sync in with the settings on the spark. then again I'd want to know what the cloud options are set to before the amp changes them.

From my experience using the Spark (about 4 months now) using a preset from the Tone Cloud, the physical controls of the amp should not be adjusted if you want to preserve the intended sound. The amp's volume is ok to adjust but as soon as you start fiddling with the knobs the intended sound is altered.

That's because the amp knobs are not motorized. There's no way the application could make the knobs move on their own.

You can see what options the tones from the cloud use after you download them. The amp won't change anything until you start adjusting. If you like the tone you just grabbed I recommend you save it before adjusting or tweaking it.

@bluesman55 WOuldn't it be awesome to have motorized knobs, then again that would drive the price of the amp through the roof. the user experience would be awesomeness.
