Tones - Issue

When i go into the tone cloud and select a tone, it works perfectly, i'm happy with it. BUT. As soon as i leave the tone cloud, my turn reverts back to the built in tone i start off with. Is this meant to happen? I can't even get to the backing tracks without it turning off.

While your are in the ToneCloud selection screen, when you select a tone, you are in fact 'previewing' it.
To really keep it, you have to Donwload and save it in the App (or as an Hardware Preset)A little bit counter-intuitive at first, but that's the way PG designed it ... :/

@benoit_mich In addition to what benoit_mich has said, when you download a tone you should "favorite" it in the tonecloud so that you can find it again easily if you change devices or for some reason have to delete and re-install the app. Also since we can't create our own categories, you might consider using one of the PG categories that you're not likely to really care about and save all your downloaded tones to that category to make it easy to find them in your device again.

@markski34 yes that's weird.
when I preview a tone coud preset, it stays on my amp regardless what I do or if my phone is on or not.
the only way I lose that preview tone is if I switch the amp off, only then does it revert to the amp preset again.
I find this quite useful, as I don't want to download every tone coud preset I find interesting ,
there's a few presets I stumble upon, and play around for an hour or so, then move on...
I suggest an uninstall and then reinstall of the app.
try forget the bluetooth connection in your fone settings and re establish it again.
then, if still not doing what it should, do a full factory reset of the amp. -

The Spark will remember the last setting no matter from where it was loaded but unless you save it to the app when you change the preset or turn off the unit it will be forgotten. The OP just needs to make sure if he finds a preset he likes to save it to the app and then if he wants assign it to a preset button from what I'm reading.

@stinger0625 from what I'm reading, he can't leave the tonecloud without it reverting to the amp preset he was on.
On mine I don't need to download any preset from the tonecloud, I can just preview it, and go back and forth on any page of the app and even switch my fone off, it still stays on the previewed tone...
