Hi there. Allegedly bias FX is compatible with garage band. Im using mac OS catalina 10.15.4

despite following all the instructions, BIAS fx doesn't appear as a plugin on my version. Ive had to download the standalone program and it works fine. Is there any way to get Bias FX in garage band? seems it doesn't want to recognise. Ive also tried with abletone live lite and had no success either. I also dont have a higher degree in computer program which is what seems to be required. ANy simple fixes to get the software to work like its supposed to?

      thanks

@captaingreg THX - Same Question from my end. Would love to use FX in garage band. Any help appreciated. Can't find it in GBs plug in list.

I'm not sure what you all are doing or in this case not doing but Garageband Catalina and Bias work together without any skills required (sort of). When you start up GB it will automatically scan your Audio Units and populate the list for you. Here is a screenshot showing this list (3rd party audio units are at the very bottom of the list):

@captaingreg You have to install the AU package (used by GarageBand) separately from the standalone program. They come from the same place, they are just different download/install packages.
