Bump.
Topic had dropped to page 7.
a moderator should highlight it again to keep it on top
strange that it has been changed .. maybe for a reason -
@pitstop-com-fr
I have the same issue after firmware update, the five leds are all flashing on and off and the amp had no output. I tried re-running firmware updater but it does not resolve the issue. Need assistance. Ticket 211552. -
Finally got my Spark Amp, OSX shows it in system, firmware app starts up but doesn't do anything.
As I can see I'm not alone here, so is there a solution after all these weeks? -
As far as I know, the solution to this is to borrow a Windows PC and update the firmware from it. :-(
-
and after updating to firmware 1.2.3.37 with Windows, Spark Amp stops working eventually ?!?!
better waiting for a new firmware? -
@eahenn I have the same issue - all 5 leds flashing and Spark amp effectively unusable after attempting and failing the firmware update. I have logged a ticket - but I ask the question - Did you finally get a resolution and can you let me know please.
-
@eahenn and @ozishield
did you update with OSX or Windows? -

I have the same issue as well. At first I had trouble getting my Mac to recognize the amp, after several restarts it did (briefly) and since then the amp no longer works, just the 5 flashing leds of doom. I never typically update firmware on my devices, and now I know why!

@elektrobox Running Windows 10.

@ozishield PG contacted me and asked to delete and reinstall the PG Audio drivers and to run the Firmware upgrade again. Did that twice and the upgrade just hung there for 50 mins. Today I did the whole thing using my spare laptop (W10) and the update went through and the 5 LEDs stopped flashing. Now I can use the Spark40 amp. Still need to get rid of the hum, and after sending a short video to PG they are sending a grounded power supply to see if that resolves the hum.

@deekel Looks like you need to complete the Firmware upgrade to get rid of the 5 LEDs flashing. Easy to say, but can you try another computer? It looks like it needs a successful upgrade to get rid of the 5LEDs. I did that today (used another computer) and successfully upgraded and the lights stopped flashing and the amp is now usable.

@ozishield Thanks so much for the tip! It took a couple of tries to connect but downloading the firmware through an alternate computer did the trick.

I had the problem with the high pitch tone, successfully updates the Firmware, but now I can change the tone about 3-4 times and then it just sticks with the last selected tone. Any advise?

@pitstop-com-fr any update or fix for this issue? The latest firmware update has done the exact same thing to mine.
