EQ for beginners

So I’m 35 been playing guitar off and on since I was 16. I’ve always been just a plug in play kinda guy the whole time until these last few years. Been on the ever going pursuit of tone! With that being said I’ve never set up and EQ and I want to throw one in the chain on my set up on bias fx. I play a lot of low tunings can someone or someone’s give me constructive hep on how to set up a good EQ for lower tuning metal. Thanks folks!

Honestly the best way is just to experiment with one slider at a time. EQ depends on your equipment, and you have different equipment than most everybody else so your EQ needs will be unique. There's no one size fits all really.
