I can't have access to Tone Cloud (BIAS FX 2)
-
@virtual-media Same issue here. Customer service hasn't gotten back to me yet.

My tone cloud has started saying empty result for a couple of days now. Does anyone know why this is?

I have a solution that worked for me by clearing the app cache in the folder "c:\users<your specific login name>\AppData\Temp\PositiveGrid"
Windows 11
- Close Bias FX
- Open File Explorer
- Turn on "show hidden items" - Top menu in explorer:
View->Show->Hidden Items (make sure it's checked) - Click "This PC" (Lower left side of explorer)
- Double click "Local Disk (C:)"
- Double click the folder "users"
- Double click the folder that is your login name.
- Double click the folder "AppData"
(if you don't see "AppData" folder then you need to go back and turn on show hidden items: Step 3) - Double click the folder "Local"
- Double click the folder "Temp"
- Double click the folder "PositiveGrid"
- Rename the folder "BIAS_FX2" to "BAK_BIAS_FX2"
- Launch Bias FX 2 app and see if tone cloud works for you
If everything is working ok you can delete the "BAK_BIAS_FX2" folder if you want.
If there is a problem, you can always put things back by re-naming "BAK_BIAS_FX2" folder from step 12 back to it's original name "BIAS_FX2"Hope this helps.

Works for me too!Thanks

First you open a instance of biasfx2 like you'd normally do. In this instance the tone cloud doesn't work. Next you just need to open another instance of it so you have two running at the same time. The tone cloud should work on the second instance you opened. From there you can just close the first instance and enjoy the tones. And yes. You have to do that every time you want to play.
