BIAS FX MOBILE

Good day!
Topic: BIAS FX MOBILE
Explain, please, support midi means the ability to connect the controller? And if so, explain the connection scheme (how is the guitar connected to the iPhone and the controller, respectively)? That is, I want to install bias fx on the iphone se, can I control it using the controller?
What is the sound quality of Bias FX Mobile? -

Hello pipelineaudio,
thank you very much for sharing your experience. I want to ask you something, please: when you say
“You may want to add a DI box to these in order to send also to the PA without worrying about any possible phantom power damage. ”
Why is that? I don’t understand this really, what the phantom power has to do here.
I got today a controller and a Quicco Bluetooth adapter. I have not tried yet, as I am not at home. But I didn’t know that a separated app, like midimittr is needed. I thought the communication was direct between adapter and BFX.
Thank you.

Depending on how your signal is getting to the PA system, if it is at all, you might be running a 1/4” to XLR adapter and there’s a chance that the PA systems phantom power could get in and make some trouble. There’s many ways around it and it’s not a big worry if you do it smart, but I use a DI because it makes other things easier for me as well
I think the Bluetooth midi needs midimittr with bias fx, some of the other apps, like Tonestack can do it without, it would be a nice update if bias fx could do it too

OK, thank you for your answer. I believe I will not be able to test my controller today or the weekend. Some things need to be atended.

I did not quite understand (because the translator does not translate very correctly). That is, you can control the Bias FX mobile only via the bluetooth controller?
-
You will need one more app, like MIDI Mittr
(I think)

For example?

This is the one i used to make the Yamaha Bluetooth MIDI work in Bias FX iOS
