@paul-jones32 I was just checking in to see if there was any news. Where did you see info on the ETA? Also, agree on the request for any teaser vids or similar! Pretty psyched to give it a look.

Is that an IR Loader I see in the Speaker Section ? Nice !

PG, we need a BFX2 video demoing the new features.

@musical-alchemy Yeah, I’m a little surprised PG is being sort of low-key with this release compared to the past. Maybe they’re putting the polish on it before the marketing blitz begins...

Might be good, though, they have had a few rocky launches, nothing wrong with some extra focus on quality, I suppose.

This is a HUGE year for amp modelling. The cat is out of the bag on dynamic convolution or whatever cloning tech is being used. FRFR has reached mainstream.

I think PG has an understanding, hopefully a bit better than before, about just what the end user goes through and may expect and their ultimate goals.

Never mind stuff like Positive Grid products crashing Dante, among the most expensive current tech, not a good sign!

If it takes a bit longer to make sure they are in good standing given the nature of the competition this year, then so be it!

Last night I was working on some video stuff and pretty much blown away by just how much more realtime CPU Bias takes than most. Its overall CPU was actually pretty low, but RTCPU was high enough to get glitches very often. We know for sure a lot of PG products' performance and reliability issues are caused by the copy protection (such as the phone home crash and the amount of hash that PG products write to DAW project files), so hopefully those can be knocked WAY down!
