Is this just an issue I'm having, or does everyone else have to login to tone cloud every time they start up Bias FX? This seems like a very odd feature to me. What's the point, since you can't use the software without bing logged in with a registered account anyway?

I get this too. Should be persistent login.

@btnmnki Please go to Settings->App Information-> License Tier, does it show "Professional" there when you start BIAS FX standalone ? Thanks!

This is still happening
I dont have to login to any of the other software "that I have paid for "
Its not like I can even use a password manager as it is not web basedThis is a bit ridiculous

I have the same issue.Surely they should have fixed this problem,

I know I'm resurrecting a dead post here, but I'm SO frustrated by this issue that I logged into the forums for the first time ever just to search for a thread with this topic and complain about it. I absolutely hate that I have to continuously login to a piece of offline software that I paid for. Just for the eyes of anybody at PG that cares: Every single time I open BiasFX and am forced to re-login, the very first emotions I experience are anger and frustration. Please consider removing this "feature" in future releases/updates.

@geetarjake You are not alone with this suffering. I believe if I get this login window 100 more times I will explode.
-
Same here, please do something about this.

Major pain in the...
Current workaround posted somewhere else is to...
Let the cloud authorize to whatever level you purchased..
Can shut off the internet now if you want.
DO NOT log out of Tonecloud from within the app. This will revert you to the demo mode.
Otherwise, can now open and close without having to reauthorize and log in each time.Have had several occasions where even this process has dumped authorization, but not every time you open the app.
Absolutely needs a fix. Decent moral world of software protection would require logging in one time to authorize and then keep the authorization regardless of internet connect status.
A bug that needs to be addressed and fixed in my opinion.

Positive Grid is the EA of plugins. It's designed to work this way. They'll never "fix" it. It's a sleazy Facebook data collection thing. When you start your plugins you can manually fill out all your login info -Or- you can click the Facebook login button. Engineered inconvenience to the user so they can get a kickback from Zuck. It's the reason PG's stuff is always on sale; get you in the door and then $%*& you. I'm deleting all their shit and spreading the word.
-
Wow it’s been years and no attempt to fix this. Very disappointed.

Losing patients with PG. Amplitube is looking better all the time.

Again my frustration of the damnable rape of my license. Every several days, Bias FX 2 holds me hostage. Used to be they dumped me back to the demo mode. Now for the last several months, they just mute the output requiring an internet connection to revalidate the license. Friends, this is never going to be fixed. The grief is engineered in there by design..
Sorry to be a jerk, and trying to be a decent moral human being, but fed up with this crap. My computer is not connected to the internet and a major bummer to reactivate the software every several days so I can go thru the ads and fire sales..
Had to take things into my own hands if you know what I mean. The company will not help and wants this cancer to remain. The dark side helped and I got no more issues to complain about. I love the product. Next time they yank my license, reactivation is not a problem. I can deal with that here offline.
So I guess, philosophical question, are you a pirate sinner to crack the software open again, or does the company have some responsibility in forcing you to the dark side.
May all be well.

I too was frustrated by the need to provide a password when applying the plugin to a channel in my DAW. I solved the issue by buying Amplitube 5. Works great, doesn't ask for password every time, and includes some fantastic sounds. Bye bye Bias FX2.
