Fine tune HH settings Open/close/... ignored.
I follow xDrummer for sometime, using it mainly as starting point for new rythms and as Sound module for Cubasis, I like the sound and sound edit posibilitys of xDrummer.
Today I looked into the Song Editor / Fine tune section for my newly purchased Jazz Drum Set 😀👍.
Changing the Fine tune settings for HH e.g. to 1/4 or 1/2 does not work,
either it‘s close or Full open all the time, furthermore I noticed all cymbals are much too loud compared to the drums.
Would be very nice, if this is working fine.
@walter-d Glad to hear you're diggin' the new Jazz Drum kit! In regards to fine-tuning hi-hat strokes, can you give us the exact names of the patterns that you're trying to manipulate? We'll take a look on our end as well. For the cymbals, you can actually adjust the volume for each instrument in the Drum Page menu by tapping on the cog icon. But we'll continue to monitor for any more feedback regarding this and decide if we need to adjust the default volume level.
thanks for your fast reply,
I‘m using the „ JR Blues 06 Verse 06“ where 1/4, 1/2 and open HH sounds the same.
Regarding the drum sound volume, I already found the tweaking volume slider for each single drum as you described, but I had to set it’s level below 0,7 of 10 to fit it to kick and Snare, this value is reset everytime, you select a Fine tune variation for this instrument.
Thanks for helping,
One more thing,
all projects drum sets are set to metal instead of their individuell drum Sets with xdrummer 1.53,
this was working nice in earlier versions.
Does this need to be entered into a separate thread?
@walter-d I just ran some tests with the Blues 06 pack, you can hear a difference between 1/2 and 1/4 open positions. The difference is subtle but it's there. It might require you to listen back using a pair of headphones/earphones.
Regarding volume for each instrument, volume levels for each instrument are preserved if I make any adjustments using the Fine-tune function. Is this what you're trying to do?
As for project management, our team is currently taking another look at it to change it so that it also saves the drum kit within the project.
