I recently bought Bias Fx standard edition. I am going to upgrade to pro soon. I was just wondering if any of you by some chance have the Zoom G7.1ut and are able to use it as a midi control? It does have a midi in and out.

Midi is midi. That's the point. Try it with another vst or app.

This is an older pedalboard unit right?

I believe it came out around 2005 or so. It's definitely not new. Doesn't really matter now. I've upgraded to pro a few days ago and I am now just waiting for a midi cable. If it works, cool. If not then I have to get a board that does.

Just putting this out there for the chance someone else out there has the same setup. The Zoom G7.1ut does in fact work as a midi controller with bias fx. It's a pain the butt for first timers. But it does work.

Awesome!!! I was using an ancient Pod XT Live to do similar!

I have a Rocktron Taboo Artist I was thinking of using if needed be. A quasi-usable back-up as well, though no sag in it, power amp emulation/modeling not being a thing outside of Line6 at most.
