BIAS FX for iPad sound quality (compared to desktop version)?

Currently I use BIAS Amp 2 and BIAS FX on my desktop PC. As I need a new audio interface I saw that Focusrite does have a version of the Scarlett Solo that can be connected directly to an iPad (iTrack Solo).
This seems to be a nice idea...however I wonder for what people will use this in real life? Does BIAS FX can hold up with the sound quality of BIAS FX Desktop?
Thank you very much!
