Midi Foot Controller with Bias FX Professional Question
-
I am looking to buy a Midi Foot Controller to use with my windows laptop running Bias Fx Pro.
Before I can decide which controller to buy I am curious as to how Bias fx works with programming Midi. On any given preset I only require 1-2 pedal changes while playing. My question is once I set up midi to control for a example 1 amp and 2 pedals if I were to change that preset to another set of amps and pedals does bias alter the midi inputs to match the next set of pedals and amps? This seems like a no brainy feature but, just wanted to make sure before purchasing a controller. This answer would help me choose between a Logidy UMI3 MIDI and Behringer FCB1010.
Thank you

I don't know how this stuff works with Bias standalone, but we've been doing a TON of work at the reaper forum to get a wireless FCB1010 going with Bias FX VST, including custom scripts and new plugins to help control everything.
There's a lot here: http://pipelineaudio.net/category/guitar-stuff/
Tons of tests on my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pipelineaudio/
And more than you could ever hope to hear at the JSFX forum: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=202979
I just got a new laptop to really push this into convenient testing so I didnt have to constantly switch things, I think results will be coming in much faster now

Glad to hear some folks are working on some scripts.
I control Bias with a line 6 FBV express MKII (originals will not work)
It's ok, and the wah works well enough. My only gripe is that you can't map a stomp to a specific preset. can only go up and down within a list. Maybe the scripts will help with that :)

If you don’t see something by piz that will let you remap that thing the way you want, let me know
