Optimizing Bias Amp 2 for recording
-
Hey, everyone. I'm looking for some advice on how best to optimize Bias Amp 2 for recording. I've found a few YouTube clips and a Sweetwater article or two that give me an idea, but nothing has been specific to the Bias products. I'm curious what others have done to process the signal to get rid of the unwanted frequencies that can cloud up your guitar tones? Specifically within the program, or with plug-ins.

One thing you may or may not want to do is looking for the "whistlers". There are some frequencies, which when swept, will add some nasty peak resonances, and can be notched out nicely. Ill see if I can find a youtube video on this

Check out around 3 minutes in here...The craziest part to me is that you dont notice it at all, until you solo it, then you cant unhear it, EVER..And if you notch it, you also don;t really notice anything missing...Its not always necessary, but when it is, it IS
