I have sound but amps will not work
-
I have BIAS AMP2 Standard installed and I am logged in toTone Cloud with a brand new standard license. I have my sound settings setup with a focusrite scarlette solo running from my Windows 10 laptop using ASIO and the USB drivers into my amplifier on the clean channel.
I have soundddddd coming out of my amp and when I test in thr software settings using the test button I get sound, but I can't use any of the AMP models. No matter what amp or effect I choose, the sound does not change, its as if the software is being bypassed, like I need to hit a "stomp" button or something.
This is happening in both BIAS AMP2 and BIASFX which I bought both. Neither are working.
I'm doing something wrong but I can't figure it out.
Any suggestions?
I have tried logging out and back in numer ous timed.

@doc42418 Please refer to this tutorial, it should be working after.

I have a feeling the monitor knob or switch on the focusrite is set to direct instead of PC. I think on the Solo its a switch called direct, you'd want it set to off for this purpose
-
I tried everything the first reply suggested and still no processed sound.
The SOLO I am using has a switch under direct monitor and the options are off and on. Ive tried it in both and no go.
Ive tried uninstlling and reinstalling, logging in and out, using direct sound, windows sound, asio, nothing works!
At this point Im ready to see if I can get a refund o n this software. I only bought it to use as a effects processor as I do not plan to record.

What happens if you monitor thru FX in your DAW? do you hear the FX? Whatever DAW you use, just one of its stock FX.

Is it possible to get a refund on this software? I am tired of messing with it. I have been up all night messin g with it and nothing works all I have managed to do is pop a speaker in my 4 x 12 cab due to the damn popping from the incompatibility of whatever is going on

I'm not using a DAW I only purchased this for the effects processing. I don't even know how to use a DAW

Which software has the "test" button?
-
If you go to settings/audio setup inside BIASAMP there is a test button
-
Ahh, yeah I see it now. So that sends the test tone out on your system just fine, but any guitar you run thru just gives you the direct guitar sound, and that's even with the Solo's direct switch set to "off" right?
-
Yes, no effects, just direct sound no matter what I do with any switch
-
Do thyou input and output knobs in Bias on the bottom left and bottom right do anything to your guitar signal?
-
This kind of thing happened to me a while ago, and it was something I did. Test sound playing but no amp sound means there's a level or something not up. Try any other software modeler with your interface - is there sound?
-
The funny thing is it was working a while back and then just stopped working. Im not sure what happened but its not working now and I don't think I chnagned anything.

@doc42418 Could you take a screenshot of the Audio Settings in BIAS Amp 2 and share it with us ? via Settings->Audio Settings, thanks!

I bought FX yesterday, have the same computer and interface as you. Also have exactly same problems and have tried the same fixes. Getting very frustrated, I use a couple of DAW's and it work work in those either or stand alone. I also edit video and record audio with this computer and and never had audio problems that I couldn't be quickly fixed. If you find a solution please post it.

Wait it works in the daws and standalone? Where doesn't it work?
-
Sorry my mistake, I meant to say it doesn't work in either.
