Looking for advice on bias amp head / mini

That mark-up seems pretty gross.

Yeah it's insane if you ask me, no idea if it's come from PG or the UK distributor as I don't really know how they get the price. All I can think is with the mini coming out they're aiming it to be the same or slightly lower price than what we all bought the bigger head for.
-
I doubt it. That would be duplicitous. More likely, the store can't afford carrying them without that much overhead.

@liam Hey Liam,
It looks like the MSRP is US$799 for the Mini out here. https://www.positivegrid.com/newlineup/
It's unfortunate that there isn't a better option for you right now. Are there no online retailers that could ship a new unit to Europe for a lower overall cost?

@danbieranowski you'll have probably seen I got the bigger head in the end from an EU retailer at more than the UK cost, but still less than the new price, and with the experience I've had with it so far I'm not too concerned with the extra money having gone out. Some of the best tones I've played through for sure so far :)

In my case, the 600 watts of headroom prevent hitting that 'upper limit' where things get mushy. This leads to a very natural, very dynamic and responsive feel at VERY loud volumes. It feels like a tube amp interacting with my playing dynamics while I'm playing it, which is a huge deal for me, because in the pricepoint there really is nothing as good.
