How can I configure Cakewalk and Bias FX 2 to record guitars?
Thanks.

When you find out let me know. Just started using both and am confused as to how it's done. -
Hello,
I'm not an expert on this, but I'll tell you what worked for me. I'm on windows 11.
be sure BIAS FX 2_x64.vst3 is loaded in Cakewalk.
for me it is in the c drive, common files, vst3.
you can load in cakewalk by opening the program, then go to preferences > File> vst settings. on the right side under 'manage vst' press +(add) and navigate to: c/program files/common files/ vst3 (if youre using vst2 the its 2)
once added it will be in Cakewalk.
now create a new file and add an audio track (or if you already have a project your'e working on, add audio track.
click the FX icon and choose 'Insert Audio effect'
For me biasfx was in the uncategorized folder. (once you use it once it appears automatically at the top of the list.)
Bias fx now opens in a new window and you can choose your preset and go.
Hope this helps, it worked for me.
