After one week, Spark Amp no longer powers on
-
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a lack of power - my Spark Amp no longer powers on and I've only had it for a week. When I tried to remove the power supply from the power input on the amp, it sparked.

I’d immediately open a Support Ticket to establish your warranty and return & replacement rights. The spark could indicate that something has shorted out inside the amp. -
@scot-foster I'd return it, and forget about the Spark. The new firmware has bricked a lot of Sparks. Dealing with PG tech support by email is chasing your own tail. I've been going in circles with them for 2 weeks. I think a bot just responds, and they keep telling me to do the same things over and over, then they closed my case, then reopended it.
I'm in the eastern part of the US, and their emails always come in around 4-5 a.m. They keep asking for the info they already have- the serial number of the amp, my info, then they start all over again with instructions on updating the firmware with a "tool" they send you.
I have many amps/interfaces I've acquired over the last 15 years. By far, this is the worst experience I've ever had. Since they keep jerking me around, I'm making it a mission to get the word out: IF YOU CAN RETURN THE SPARK, DO SO. I'm out of warranty, so I'll have to pay for repair. Either that, or basically throw $330 out the window...
