I just got my Spark 40 today and I am getting no sound at all, not from a guitar plugged in and not when attempting to use it as a bluetooth speaker. I've checked my cables, guitar knobs, and also ensured I was not in tuning mode. Even when I plug in to the headphone jack I get no sound what-so-ever. I've also done a factory reset and did a firmware update on my Windows computer, and ensured to hit the eject button in the installer before proceeding. What else can I try?

I know this is probably a stupid question, but have you adjusted the right most Output knob? This knob controls the actual output volume of the amp.

I’d open a Support Ticket right away to insure you’ve established your warranty rights for an immediate return & replacement. Seems like you’ve done what they will suggest you do again…

@dan-lawrence Yeah, I've had output up all the way. I opened a ticket and they've already got me started on getting it shipped back and getting a replacement. I hope that this isn't a bad omen for the product.

Personally, I would call PG for support. It sounds like you may have a defective unit. Good luck!

@a-w-cotton Yesterday I had an issue with no sound from the guitar input, Bluetooth audio was fine. Tried other cables and different guitars, no improvement. I then found an obscure post online that mentions using the opposite end of the guitar cable, I went back to the original cable and plugged the other end into the amp and unbelievably it worked. Good luck.
