I've had to re-download ableton to update it, and in doing so Bias Amp 2 has been kicked out the VST folders. I have re-downloaded BA2 many times, and it has only been able to recognise it as an AUv2 plugin, which is a problem because all my previous projects have had bias amp 2 as a VST 2 plugin, and so all previous projects containing the plugin now no longer work. The AUv2 file also makes a corrupted-sounding noise as soon as i switch amps and press play on the project, and then when i close down BA2 the audio track plays a solid tone (being broken).
How do I get ableton to recognise BA2 as a VST2 plugin again?
