Lag with Spark Controller?

Does anyone else find that there is a slight lag when switching tone presets via the Spark Controller? If you've ever used a traditional stomp box pedal you know how responsive they are. The buttons on the Spark 40 itself are very responsive, but I find that my foot is already off the button of the Spark Controller before I hear the tone change.
