Yoooo. Went to connect to my Spark 40 today - no go! Alright, deleted the app, reinstalled, try to connect, no go. Ok, check the firmware, needs updating, ok. Download and run the update, try to connect, no go. Reset Spark 40 to default settings, try and connect the app - it works, but no BT audio. Restart the amp, shut down and restart the app, no go.

WTF is going on? Anyone having serious issues getting their app to connect with the amp?

I also have encountered a NO GO situation since the firmware update. I use a Galaxy tablet running Android 12 and when I select the app, it will NOT load. I uninstalled it and re-installed it a few times. Still NO GO. Please help!!!

@wetnall Same here, app crashes on my Galaxy tablet when opening, and an error pops up that says it closed due to a bug and wait for the developer to release a fix. It works just fine on my S21 though so I can still access it but it's a massive pain.

I'm at a loss over the lack of support or even acknowledgement from PG. Very frustrating. I pre-ordered mine and all they could say was that we'll sell you a refurb for a discounted price plus shipping.
I keep seeing downgrading restores the sound but the only download I found for that doesn't detect the spark even though Windows does.
Can anyone provide a link or info on downgrading?

I use iOS devices, so can’t be of any help with a Galaxy. However, I also follow the Spark Amp Lovers Forum (sparkamplovers), which has done a much better job at organizing and providing user information. You may find some answers there…
