EQ magic

Hey guys,
I could extract some incredible tones (to my ears) with the 4 inch speakers of the Spark amp using the EQ pedal.
I am a bit surprised to see that most popular tones in Tonecloud are still ones without EQ, as I found that this pedal does a major good to the tones.The 400Hz frequency in particular for small speakers brings a "bark" that just doesn't work well. It makes the tone boxy and small. I took some popular high gain tones in Tonecloud and made a deep cut in the 400 Hz and I was just amazed by the result. The sounds opened and the boxiness was gone. The tone was much more in the direction of what I get from 5 inch monitoring speakers.
By doing this cut in the 400 Hz I could keep the mids fairly high on the amp and added some sweetness with the 3.2 khz, a bit of punch with the 200Hz.
The difference between the EQ pedal on and off is just night and day.
Of course every guitar is different and so are our fingers and a great tone is subjective.Do you guys use the EQ pedal intensively as well or just amp?
Cheers !!

@adil82377 One of the main problems with Spark Amps is the fixed nature of the FX slots. You get one and only one. So in your case for example, you set up your EQ get a really good sound but then you cannot have, say a tremolo or vibe FX. Good DSP amps allow for multiple same type FX until you run out of DSP.
Also having the EQ fixed where it is, allows the fixing-up of the sound but not having the ability to move the EQ, one cannot correct the sound going into the chain. For example, If the signal is "Boomy" going into the compressor it will be based on that frequency that the compressor is doing the most work on and not other frequencies. -
@vinegar-spiders absolutely!!
I hope Positive Grid would in a future update allow us to place the EQ pedal in another slot, maybe were the delay pedals are. This could be a good compromise until one day a mrk II with more DSP would be produced. -
The popular tones are old presets. The EQ was added later. You cannot change an uploaded preset.
