Got my new Mini about a week or two ago. Love the sounds and portability.
But...when I play notes on the low E string on some patches the speaker breaks up a little like is it damaged. Is that to be expected because of the size or should I RMA this puppy. It said it can handle a bass so I would think the low E on a guitar wouldn't push to its limits.

Also if I do RMA will I be waiting another 4 months for a replacement? Thanks for any info.

      Mike

I don’t have a Mini; however, if it only happens with specific Tone Presets, I’d try adjusting the Preset settings. Try tweaking the Preset Amp and Overdrive/Distortion Pedal (if active) Gain and Volume levels.

Your specific setup and signal chain is going to be different from the originator of the specific Preset. I have a pretty basic signal chain and standard Amp & Guitar setting, and I’ve been able to ‘tame’ most Presets this way.

@mfair1 Digital distortion will occur at even low levels, while speaker breakup requires a bit of volume. Also, if you hear it through headphones, you can bet its digital. If only through the speaker, I'd suspect the speaker, loose connection, or something rattling inside.
