I assume that means the guy I bought it from "mint" registered it already.
I'm guessing that the warranty is non-transferable, but what does that mean as far as firmware updates and such?
Also, I can't get a hold of a human at Positive Grid, is there a support email or phone number?

Based on precious threads, your only recourse is to open a ticket, describe the situation and wait for a reply. I believe you do so by clicking on “Contact Support” link, above, left.
Over the past year or so that I’ve been a Forum Member, several other ‘2nd Hand’ buyers have successfully resolved the same issue.
