Why on earth has a core feature of Bias FX 2 been removed in the latest update?

I have no toolbox menu or looper option when used as a VST in DAW. This was not the case in the last version.

I'm surrounded by ads, but core features of Bias FX 2 are removed? What is going on?

@antonleigh I checked the release history and that was removed in version 2.3.0.6070 more than a year ago.

@wintersover Apparently to the dismay of its userbase. The tuner was removed too and brought back when threads like this came up: https://www.reddit.com/r/PositiveGrid/comments/o7y4v6/tuner_gone/

This is not as advertised. Opening up the "Features of Bias FX 2" states right there looper as number 3. Upgrading to FX 2 from the original was already a big slap in the face to the current userbase given its lack of features, and one of the reasons I upgraded was for the looper.

Bias FX was originally a VST plug-in, when I bought it.

The standalone features should not be allowed to be taken out of the plug-ins for no reason at all.

I've downgraded to a previous version, apparently being my only option.

@compman67 I think you're in standalone. I'm talking about the VST plug-in you use in a DAW. Apparently it was removed intentionally (probably because they couldn't get remote midi support for the looper to work) and they only added back the tuner when enough people complained.
