How to get both guitar music and drums out of Spark?
-
OK. I just purchased Positive Grid Spark and installed the app. Now I need to understand how to use a jam session. If I select a Jam the sound of musical base and drums gets out from the smartphone speaker, whereas the sound of my guitar from Spark. The volumes are not comparable. What I need is that drums and base is mixed with my guitar sound and that both use the Spark. But how?

Seems like your Smartphone isn’t linking to the Spark Amp via Bluetooth.Once set up, your Smartphone should link to the Spark Amp. Mine does it automatically. I don’t remember if I had to initially set up the link (like a new set of earbuds), or if it happened during the initial amp setup.
In your phone Settings>Bluetooth you should see “Spark 40 Audio” under the ‘My Devices’ List. Not sure about the Spark Mini; however it should be similar.
If you don’t see it, set your phone next to the Spark, and it should eventually show up at the bottom under ‘Other Devices’. Select it, and you should be able to hear audio from within the Spark App as well as from any other app.
My iPad volume is set at 60%, and mixes nicely with the Spark 40. I keep the Spark 40 Output Knob at about 25% all of the time, and adjust the individual Preset Amp Volume and Gain for a comfortable guitar output.
