Newby here just got the new Mini Amp and Spark Control pedal. After many hours I still cannot get the pedal to save four different patches that I can flick through with the foot pedal switches, hence use for the same song. The instructions have little in the way of letting me set this up to operate this unit. Has anyone got step by step instructions for the menu’s of operating this pedal. There is nothing that I can find on YT either.

The Presets are not “saved” in the Spark Controller. Instead the Controller selects the corresponding Spark Amp Channel Preset directly through Spark App (when using Controller Mode 1). Other Controller Modes allow you to control YouTube Playback, or select a specific Channel Preset and then toggle specific pedals within the Preset ‘on’ and ‘off’.

Haven’t used mine in ages. The actual capabilities of the Controller did not live up to the hype prior to its release. And the narrow body makes it harder for me to consistently toggle a pedal on/off when using Mode 5.

Remember that you also need to have the Spark App ‘active’ to maintain the Controller-to-Amp Bluetooth signal chain. If you want to use a second app for song/backing track playback/control, you must use iOS Split Screen, or else the Controller Bluetooth drops out.
