Linux friendly firmware update process
-
Just got my Spark Mini, seems that I require Windows or Mac in order to update the firmware. I'm all about linux. I've ran the .exe with wine, opens but doesn't get to the update screen.
Bought Insta 360 One R, it uses Android phone app to update the firmware of the cameras.
Also Tula Mic, which is detected as a removable device when I connect it to the workstation, I drop the bin file on it with the firmware and open the device after unplug with a key combination if I recall right and gets the job done.Any chances to get us linux users going as well with the firmware updates somehow in the near future?
Best regards!

@rex-progrock Yes, I understand. I don't handle web development in any capacity, I'm simply answering community questions here. I'll pass the feedback along.

@caitlyn-mcguire Seconded. The WIN updater doesn't work in WINE.

@caitlyn-mcguire seconded. Just setup my Spark, went to use the tuner in the app and was sent to install a new firmware which I can't because I run Linux. Very disappointing. I see this has been brought up in the forum for years, is there any plan to address it or is it just, maybe one day?
