Spark 40 Bricked after attempt to update to 1.7.5.182. I launched the Firware Update on my MBP and clicked the connect button. The button changed to "Connecting" (BAD UI Design) and stayed flashing that for around 30 seconds. It this reported that the update failed.

Now, it shows my Spark 40 with an :Eject" button, but no serial number or version. Also, the Tap and preset buttons all continuously flash on and off.

      Steps:

Downloaded Spark Firmware Updater (Mac) v1.7.5.182
      Power off the Spark 40
      Connected the USB cable
      Powered on the Spark 40
      Launched the updater
      Clicked the Connect button
      Received Failure

      Diagnostics:
I have powered off the Spark 40
      Removed the power connector
Flipped the power switch to the on position
      Waited 2 minutes
Flipped the power switch to the off position
      Plugged the power back in
Flipped the power switch to the on position
      Power light comes on
Tap and Preset buttons flash continuously

What was the fix?? i'm having same problem with my spark 40. Turned it on and all 5 lites blinking. Won't update firmware, won't reset to factory and won't connect to app. I've had the Spark since it first came out and this is my first major problem where i'm unable to use it like it is meant to be used.
