@coloxim I've got a very similar issue I believe - my spark isn't recognised within Windows - often it doesn't even appear in Device Manager. I've installed the official driver and tried many things, but I just can't get it to recognise. Really disappointing, as this is one of the main reasons that I got it... I hope someone has seen this before and has a solution!

@pergola57 hi, you don't have to use the drives of spark 40... In the support page there are the correct drivers...

Anyway, if you connect spak mini to your phone, you disable the USB port...
So, if you want to use USB port you have turn off the bluetooth on your phone but, in this way, you can't use tone control...

@coloxim You should be able to retain the Spark Tone Control Bluetooth connection while using USB, but not the Spark Audio Bluetooth connection. It's the audio and USB that are mutually exclusive.

I'll admit I'm using iOS and Mac OS, but given the iPad and the Mac are not talking directly, I don't think that's relevant. I can use the Tone Control while recording into Logic Pro just fine.

            Spark Mini 1.7.2.10
            MacBook Pro MacOS 10.15.7
            iPad (6th generation) iPadOS 14.7.1

@coloxim I'd say use the line-level output, but I just posted a problem with that.

@jon-3 And I can confirm that you can't use Bluetooth and USB at the same time from the Android app.

This is very important info. I was confused (very) when I tried to connect it with USB. I thought it was faulty. I then turned off the bluetooth on my phone and it immediately showed up on the laptop.

So a prominent warning should be made about this.

The warning, alas, is that it's a pre-release product.

the instructions for connecting the spark mini to the presonus studio 5 are incorrect, there is currently no dedicated driver for the spark mini and the driver for the spark 40 will not work with the min. The driver PG are recommended is the ASIO4All which you need to use however this has latency problems that PG are aware of and are trying to fix. I have been told to wait for updates.
PG have not altered the instructions to link which is very dissapointing as I and others hasve spent countless hours tring to make it work.
We await PG support to fix the problem.
