Feedback when playing live issue

Sorry folks, I have a very noob question here but I hope someone will be kind enough to give me some advice: I am mainly a singer but I also do some little guitar in my band: I am trying to use bias fx live on rehearsals using an iPad Pro and audio interface: as long as I practice home (with headphones) everything works fine but on rehearsals, hooked to the Pa, I found hard not to get feedback when switching from relatively clean tones to distorted / high gain ones: also I lack a strategy to have a constant output level between presets.
I tried to reduce feedback using an eq, but that proved to be useless as it changed the overall sound tone too much: any hint/best practice? Thanks in advance! -
@fmeschini Hello: regarding feedback I am afraid you have the same you would have with a physical pedalboard, so solution will be placement of speaker, volume and the usual measures.
To avoid the volume differences between patches my solution was simply to add a volume pedal at the chain end of every patch. If my chain has already a foot volume that I want to play with, then I add a second one at the end, only to match volumes and I don’t touch it anymore. I am not sure if FX2 has already an option to match volumes, as I still use FX normally, because I like to play with Celestion and FX2 still hasn’t them (although promised two years ago).

@fmeschini To add to what's been said, if you are experiencing a very high frequency squeal type of feedback, this can be due to coils in the pickups being moved by the magnetic field of the speaker. This usually means getting pickups 'wax potted' to hold the coils still (remove the pickups and send to a specialist), or more commonly replacing with better made pickups that already have this.
