I can’t get my favorites to stay loaded. When I click to play a song, it automatically switches to a preset on the amp. Why is it doing this?

Need more information in order to try and help. When you say, “favorites” are you talking about a a song in ToneCloud Music, or a Preset in the Spark App, or one of the Presets loaded directly into the Spark 40 Amp? What specifically are you “clicking”?

@dan-lawrence So for instance, I’ll pick an Eddie Van Halen tone from the Tonecloud, then pick a song to play along with. But as soon as I click the song, the Eddie Van Halen tone goes away and one of my presets is set as the tone. And I’m talking about the sounds that I have set in the four little buttons on top of the Spark. I customized those buttons when this issue started. I have four basic tones that like to play with, so I made them my presets.

Another way to describe it is that I’ll pick one of my favorite tones from the Tonecloud, say Joe Satriani. The sound of the amp will change to Joe Satriani as soon as I pick the tone, but when I try to access the actual amp set up to change a couple of knobs, it changes back to a preset from the top of the Spark amp.

I’m wondering if a factory reset is the way to alleviate the issue. I just don’t want to lose anything that I created.

Does that help? And thanks for offering the assistance.

I believe for the ToneCloud Preset to remain active in the Spark 40, you have to download it to your Spark App first. You can temporarily ‘preview’ the Preset in ToneCloud; however as soon as you try to select or do something else, the Spark 40 defaults back to its most recent saved/used Preset unless you download the new one first.

Once you save the Preset to the Spark App, you should be able to select it, modify it (remember to Overwrite or Save-as-New) and use it with ToneCloud Music or external app songs/backing tracks.
