I got my Amp yesterday evening. After setup this morning the amp worked fine for a while but this afternoon after 20 seconds my guitar loose sound and it doesn't come back until I change a preset. Then it works for another 20 seconds or so and it's quiet again. As soon as I restart the amp and make contact with my iPad it might work for a while 2 or 3 songs and then suddenly it's quiet again, same problem. I removed the app, did a factory reset. did a bluetooth reset, reconnected but still the same problem.

I have the latest firmware on the Spark 1.6.5.160 and I use iOS 15.3.1.on my iPad with the latest Spark app

I did some more testing, even without the Spark App connected the sound disappears. I used the presets instead and after pushing for example 1 it works for a while and then suddenly it starts blinking again. Same goes for the other 3 presets.

      Software failure or hardware?

A lot of members have indicated that they need to perform a ´factory reset´ after updating the Spark 40 firmware. If that doesn’t fix it, then I still vote that it’s a hardware issue worthy of replacement

@dan-lawrence Yeah I saw that, thanks. I did the factory reset already but that didn't help. I will talk to Amazon tomorrow and see if they can send a replacement otherwise money back. I also send a request to PG support, see if they have a solution.

I had the Spark power cord plugged in an extension cord but now instead I have it direct plugged into the 220v wall outlet and now it has been working for a few hours without any sound loss. I have never experienced a device not working using an extension cord but here we are. But this seems to do the trick and I can use the Spark without any troubles.

mine is 7 months old...doing the same thing...I think Its a poor quality amp, thats what i think because i tried everything and it keeps happening.

A poor qualkity product...yes, granted it does a lot of stuff, very innovative but it should not have been sold to the public until they tested it thorughly..
