Bias FX2 doesn't open in Garageband?

For around a year, I've been using BIAS FX2 as a plugin in Garageband. When selecting the plugin, bias would open and I could dial in amps etc..
Now for a while, I've been using another (stand alone) digital amp modeler software. Today I wanted to go back to garageband, but the bias plugin doesn't open. I can see it, I can select it, I even hear the standard preset. But the 'bias screen' cannot be visualised. Maybe I switched something off?
Anyone with the same problem? Or better: a sollution to my problem?
Thanks in advance!
@pascal-vanhees Exact same problem in garageband - can see, and select the Bias FX2 plug-in from Audio units, but it just loads to a blank popup where BIASFX2 would normally be. It has the track name at top and "BIAS FX2" at the bottom.
I can hear whatever the preset whats for that track, and it even changes on each track that was last saved with a different preset.
I cant seem to Un-install the program either.
Stand alone bias fx2 loads fine....
I had this problem for Garageband on Mac running Monterey. I followed the instructions in this article : https://help.positivegrid.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003811646-Find-User-Presets-in-GarageBand
I had to search for the "Garageband" folder as it wasnt in my "Doucments" folder. But once i copied the Bias FX2 folder from my "Documents" folder to the Garage band folder.. the black screen finally loaded! Back up and running now!!!!
Oh - give it a second (maybe 2 seconds) to load though... it still goes to black screen to begin with - but then goes to the sign in Jimi Hendrix background, before being able to log in again.

@markandchi When you say you had to find your garageband folder, where did you find it at? I can't find any garageband folder.
