How do you charge an iPad or iPhone at the same time while using RIFF?

Why use a micro USB to Lightning cable when all new Apple Products are USB-C or Thunderbolt? So, add another USB-A to TB dongle to operate RIFF with 2021 Apple products.

Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter

USB-C should be the standard interface for any modern audio/media peripheral, especially one that is marketed as "Ready for iOS" :|

All my IOS and OSX gear is USB-C; so are all my peripherals...

And so are the two ANDROID tablets I have.

Lightning and Micro USB are a pain, unreliable, adapters to "C" don't always pass audio or pass through the correct 5V.

It sounds like it was designed 3 years ago.

It also seems like a Spark without the power amp/speakers....and the Spark was presented as an "all in one interface."

          ?????????????
