Amp turns on but no sound from instrument
-
Using my amp with my instrument and had been working fine. Turned amp off for about 30mins. When I turned it back on I got no more sound from my instrument and the amp sounds like a jet engine wanting to take off. It seemed to work just fine after firmware update that took place 3 weeks ago. Did a factory reset and still the same. Can't get ahold of anyone at positive grid.

Same thing happened to my Spark a few days ago. I reached Spark Customer Service through the Chat function. Customer Service recommended a Factory Reset, and Firmware Update, which did not fix the issue. They asked that I send them a video, which I just did. All I get is static or white noise. This is the second Spark I have had die on me in 6 months. This is still under warranty, but it's still a hassle to have to deal with this, for a second time. Sounds are killer, but the product is junk if I have to send it back every few months. Good luck to you.

@jovima69 hi Jov - this situation sucks for you - I’ve had all the same issues - but sadly as I live in Australia - I don’t really have return option - so I’ve never had the opportunity of experiencing the killer tones you mentioned - I purchased my Spark very early post positive grids NAAM awards - I think that was pre COVID - sadly still haven’t managed any tones out this heavily hyped - award winning product - this is an empathy response - I’m not saying I’m worse off in anyway - just frustrated and I feel your anxiety - I hope you either receive a full refund and or a new amp with other goodies thrown in (say Hendrix package) as a reward for your troubles and ongoing PG support - PG remember loyal customers are the cornerstone of any business - acquisition is far more expensive than customer retention
