I'm still figuring out my Spark Amp. Is it possible to select an amp at random and then choose just the pedals you're interested in? If so how is this done? Best I can tell is that whatever amp you choose it already has assigned pedals?

      Thanks,

      Scott

You are correct; all you can pick from the Spark App and ToneCloud are full Presets.

If you want to ‘build your own’, then pick an existing Preset with the Amp you want, and save the Preset as ‘Save as New”. Turn off all the pedals that came with it, and set up the amp to your liking. At this point, “Overwrite” the Preset to save/lock-down the basic Amp settings. Then change/adjust each pedal in the Preset, and “Overwrite” to lock down each pedal. When done, set your preferred mix of pedals to On/Off, and “Overwrite” to save your final starting-point Preset.

When developing a new preset, I always start the Spark 40 Output Knob at 25%, and the guitar Volume/Tone Knobs at normal preferred playing positions. I adjust guitar knobs as needed when necessary; however I religiously keep the Amp Output at 25%, my normal preferred playing volume.

If you really want to get into amp/pedalboard designs, then one of the BIAS products may be of interest. Not my thing; however lots of users on the Forum love it(or at least developed a love/hate relation with it😎)
