There is a whole community of ukulele players that would love to use this technology. Can this be adapted for ukulele? Please and thanks for the positive feedback.

The Spark 40 works great with my acoustic electric guitar; so I see no reason it wouldn’t work with an acoustic electric ukulele. There are also relatively inexpensive ukulele microphones and pickups available for non-electrics.

My wife plays a ukulele so I did a bit of research shortly after getting the Spark. Haven’t tried anything yet as she didn’t really express interest…

The Music portion of the Spark App provides chord names and guitar chord diagrams - no Tabs.

Unfortunately the chord information is electronically ‘learned’ directly by the app from YouTube videos. Depending on the complexity of the music, there can be lots of ‘false chords’ included. I’ve had better luck researching chord information using Ultimate Tabs App/Website (loads of ukulele Tabs/chord sheets), and using that information to play along with the song/backing track.

Unfortunately, I’ve found Spark App Music frustrating and often inaccurate.
