Getting the error "Could not connect, please check your internet connection" in both Bias FX 1 and 2 today. Nothing wrong with my internet connection. Anyone else?

Mine is down also. It tells me that it is unable to connect and then tells me to check my internet connection. But when I select the featured tab all those pedalboards load still. Screenshot 2021-12-14 144755.png Screenshot 2021-12-14 144906.png

I seem to be having a similar, yet slightly different issue. I can download Amps in BIAS AMP 2 just fine, however BIAS FX 2 only allows me to sample and download Feature tones as well. It will let me into the Tonecloud, however when I try to download anything I receive a generic "UNKNOWN ERROR" dialogue. What gets my attention is the Tonecloud icon has a little time icon inside which makes me think something is amiss, but why I can load stuff in AMP 2 and not FX 2 is baffling to me.

The "Unknown error occured" issue when downloading is not related to location. It's related to a particular build(s) of Bias FX 2. I posted details of the error here: https://forum.positivegrid.com/post/25562

I'm using a Windows 64bit build, version 2.4.3.6250.Release. However, someone else reported it happens in the 32bit build too.

I'm getting the unknown error occurred too. I'm on Mac. First time it's ever happened.

Hi everyone. at the risk of posting this everywhere, but in regards to the "unknown error" message in Tonecloud,. I am having the same issue but was able to figure out a way around it for the time being, just pasting my response to another thread here:

Hello, I purchased the Elite for Windows 10 last night and have been trying to figure this out all day as well.. I think I may have found a work around... although it is less than ideal, I am now able to download tones by doing the following: Search for the tone you are looking for or wanting to try. Hover over the block that contains the tone that you wish to preview and click the three dots and choose detail, now VERY IMPORTANT. instead of trying to preview or downloading the preset, you have to click on the username of the person that created the tone, once you do that, then look in their list of presets for the tone you wanted... and now you can click preview or download and it should work ...It's a long way around, but I haven't had one fail to download since I started using this method.. Good Luck!

                          So basically,

                          Search for a tone
Click the three dots of the tone you wish to try and choose detail
Once on the detail screen, do not press preview or download, Instead, you must click on the username of the person that created it.
Now find the tone that you originally were looking for in their list of presets and you can either now click preview or click the three dots, choose detail and now download....
Once you do it a few times, it goes pretty quickly, hopefully they can fix it soon.
