      Hi all,

I have a Spark amp at home since about 3 weeks now. Whenever I set the power switch to OFF, the speaker produces a loud cracking sound which is really annoying.

      Is this normal?
Is there any way to stop this?

      Cheers
      Andi

@andi I'm having the same issue. Even if I turn the volume on the amp all the way off, I still get a loud crackle that has to eventually damage the speaker(s). I'm currently just using a power strip as the on/off switch, but there's clearly something wrong with the product and hopefully customer support will address/replace it.

@bababgp108 If you are getting noises you are worried about, put something in the headphone/line out socket before switching off for now and see if that stops noise from the speakers during switch off. I'm not suggesting this is an ideal option, but it might be better than dealing with damaged speakers.

Not had the issue myself, hope you guys get it sorted soon.

              Any solution for this issue?

I started to have this problem recently!

I contacted PG, and they offered to repair it. Unfortunately, it's out of warranty, and the cost of repair + shipping is much more than a new unit!

If you find a solution please help.

              Thanks
