Newbie - Spark Amp with Tab?
-
I picked up a Spark Amp because I thought the tech looked cool and am also a Helix Floor user.
Is there any capabilities to follow along with a tab vs chord chart? I’ma bit more experienced player and would really prefer tab. I usually just figure out the songs but thought Spark might diversify my music choices a bit. If not, is there a place to submit enhancement requests?
Also, I noticed the chords can be a bit behind at times. Any suggestions on that?
Thanks!

I’m pretty new to Spark myself, and haven’t seen or heard of a way to attach or display a TAB within Spark App Music. I use a music stand and paper. I also use an app called AnyTune to play the song/backing track as it’s a lot more flexible than Spark App Music.
I have seen a number of videos within Music that show the TAB within video throughout the playback. AnyTune allows you to attach a document to the song/backing track and display it during playback. I haven’t tried it yet, so I don’t know if it’s useful or not. I also believe that Ultimate Guitar Tabs scrolls through the TAB as their backing track plays; however I haven’t really tried it very much.
It’s easier for me to learn and play along with the actual song using AnyTune and paper. I can adjust the pitch and BPM of the song, and quickly set up multiple loops to focus on key rhythm and solo parts. I’m sure their are other, similar apps out there that do the same thing; I found out about AnyTune on the Spark Zone Forum and it more than met my needs.
Hope this helps a little…
